The Growing Season is upon us. Several of our members grow gardens with vegetables and fruits which
are sometimes shared with community. Additionally, one of our members has an animal farm with chickens and eggs for
sale. If you like to garden or farm, this is a place to share.

As
a Fellowship, we seek to promote ongoing dialog, engagement, and coalition building among Upstate California groups
and individuals who support sustainable living practices or provide environmentally-friendly goods and services. This is accomplished
by coming together with and paying attention to government agencies, non-profit organizations, businesses, educational
organizations as well as individuals at the event to cultivate understanding and collaboration.

In 2010, the Whole Earth and Watershed Festival offered several hands-on, practical demonstrations
for the public on such subjects such as cooking with fresh, organic produce, how to build a solar cooker, composting, and
low water landscaping. We want to participate in growing this important community event here in Redding. We want to offer our region a place where
people can learn how to make the healthy changes they need to live a more sustainable life.
.
some of us, as individuals, continue to support
the community Whole Earth and Watershed Festival! One goal of the Watershed Festival is educate, inspire, and empower children
and adults to engage with the natural world, learn to live in a more sustainable manner, keep informed about environmental
and community issues, preserve our vital watersheds, and to take a more active role in shaping our local communities. The Whole Earth
and Watershed Festival accomplishes this by providing
an opportunity in late April for a celebration in honor of Earth Day, while
also serving as the kick-off event for Watershed Awareness Month.
We continue to spend time together, as in past years, during each of the world and local
holidays. Unitarians frequently join in singing, eating, and observance and learning about rituals of faith as expressed by
various world groups. . .
